The Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain ( 반포대교 달빛무지개분수) is one of Seoul's premier riverfront attractions. Located over the Hangang River, it offers an unforgettable spectacle combining water, lights, and music.
What to Expect at Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain
The fountain plunges 20 meters down into the Hangang River from both sides of the Banpo Bridge. After sunset, 200 lights illuminate the streams, creating dancing rainbow-colored water jets synchronized with music.

Visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the performance from multiple spots, including nearby hills, the Hangang River observation deck, and the moon-shaped Moonlight Square.
Operating Schedule and Show Times
The fountain operates every day from April to October, presenting four to six shows daily. Each show lasts for 20 minutes.

From April to June and September to October, shows run at 12:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, and 21:00. During July and August, an extra evening slot is added, with shows at 12:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00, and 21:30.

The fountain rests from November through March. Operations may also change depending on weather conditions.
