London Bagel Museum Anguk: Takeout Guide and Review

ロンドンベーグルミュージアム 安国

During a recent day trip to Seoul, I finally had the opportunity to visit London Bagel Museum Anguk. Having enjoyed their famous bagels for a long time, visiting the shop in person was one of the top highlights of my itinerary.

Previously, my sibling would bring these bagels down to Busan whenever visiting from Seoul. This time, I was thrilled to visit the physical store in Anguk myself and pick out a takeout order directly.

London Bagel Museum Anguk: Store Overview

Address: 20 Bukchon-ro 4-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
Operating Hours: 07:00 – 18:00 (Open on public holidays)
Parking: Not available on-site
Takeout: Available

Given its location in Jongno, it is a convenient stop for travelers exploring the historic central area of Seoul.

Even with a packed schedule for a one-day trip, visiting this famous spot in the Anguk neighborhood was an absolute priority on my itinerary.

Visiting London Bagel Museum Anguk Without a Long Queue

Because of its close proximity to Bukchon Hanok Village, the bakery is well known for attracting large crowds and long wait times. I visited with the mindset of skipping it if the queue was too long, but was fortunate enough to enter immediately without any waiting.

Menu Experience, Store Facilities, and Reheating Tips

Arriving around 4:30 PM on a Sunday turned out to be an ideal quiet window. The location is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Anguk Station. For visitors driving, parking at the nearby iParking Hyundai Gyeedong Building provides convenient access for picking up bagels and walking around Bukchon.

Upon entering, I picked up popular options such as the Scallion Bagel, Cheese Honey Bagel, and Pretzel Bagel. While a few varieties were sold out late in the afternoon, popular items are regularly restocked. Purchasing an insulated cooler bag is highly recommended for long-distance travel, especially when taking items back to other cities like Busan.

While waiting for takeout, I explored the seating area on the second floor, which offers a relaxed atmosphere for dining in. The first floor displays merchandise including mugs, tumblers, eco-bags, and plush items. The bagels tasted delicious the next morning alongside coffee, and freezing leftovers to reheat in an air fryer restored their freshly baked texture.
